      • Joy Harjo is an American poet, musician, playwright, and author. She is the incumbent United States Poet Laureate, the first Native American to hold that honor.

    • Writing Haiku - Virtual Zoom Event - St. Louis County Library
      • Local master of the modern haiku, Ben Gaa, will share a taste of this meditative and fun poetic form in honor of National Poetry Month.Adults and teens. Registration required. Participants will receive Zoom information via email immediately after registering.

    • Teen Poetry & Lyrics Lab - Virtual Program - St. Louis Public Library
      • Come join us as we read, write, and talk about poetry using hip-hop as inspiration to create. Program Accessibility for Guests with Disabilities -This program is for everyone!       • What started as a listening party for a poetry EP has grown to a staple in the literary community for artists and was voted 2017 & 2019 Favorite Open Mic Night by The St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The vibe is indescribable, and the energy is beyond powerful. We return in 2021 with more vibes Every Monday Night!!
