Reference resources are publications to which one can quickly refer for factual information such as overviews, critiques, definitions, and/or timelines. Reference resources are usually referred to for particular pieces of information rather than read from beginning to end. Often an article or section of a reference resource is all that is required to meet one's information need.
Reference resources maybe found in both the library print reference collection and the online library databases.
Please note: the library databases are available only to Nerinx Hall students, faculty, and staff. The articles are password protected. Passwords can be found at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lto4wUs5JnmpWCtMifRpGIWclqBDqEP8hvpME4Ayyjo/edit#gid=0, google sheet available to those with nerinxhs.org gmail accounts.
Listed below are only a select few examples of the print resources in the library. Be sure to search the catalog or just come in and browse!
These are databases to which Nerinx Hall subscribes. If you don't know the username/password to log in, refer to this Google Doc (you must be in your @nerinxhs.org account to open it).
These are databases to which we have access through our partnership with St. Louis County Library. They also require a login. Please contact Dr. Smith if you do not know your username/password.
